Surgical Technologist

Role: Surgical Technician Responsibilities: Facilitate physicians during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment. Ensure a sterile environment and maintain quality patient care throughout surgeries. Verify surgical consent, prepare sterile fields, assist with instrument passing, and perform instrument cleaning and sterilization. Assist with room setup, supplies management, and room turnover. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology (required) Relevant acute care experience (preferred) Certification from National Board or Association of Surgical Technologists (preferred) CPR or BLS certification (preferred) Essential Functions: Verify surgeries, anticipate surgeon needs, perform counts, prepare dressings, set up sterile fields, and assist with instrument preparation and room turnover. Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for procedures. Organizational Requirements: Commitment to safety, vaccination compliance, and participation in E-Verify process.
