The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is seeking an RN for a Med Surg position. This is a travel position with a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The contract duration is 12 weeks, starting on 07/29/2026 and ending on 10/21/2026. The shift details include 3 shifts per week, with 36 scheduled hours. The position requires 2 years of experience, with a preference for previous charge experience and familiarity with the Epic charting system. Required certifications include BLS and NIHSS. Skills required include managing ports, administering blood products, and wound care, among others.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patient diagnoses include a variety of illnesses and conditions, with a focus on stable remote telemetry monitored patients who are not on cardiac drips.
