Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Rotating Weekend Coverage (Every Other Weekend) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Independently provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across all phases of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
• Deliver safe and effective care within an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) setting, including Newborn Nursery
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within skillset to other units as required
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered New York State RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of acute hospital experience in an OB/Labor and Delivery setting
• Demonstrated experience in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Experience in LDRP and Newborn Nursery required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification preferred
• Experience in low-risk and/or high-risk maternal care
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
