Radiologic Technologist

Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for acquiring high-quality diagnostic radiographic images to support patient care in the Radiology department. Responsibilities Perform basic and complex radiographic procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Adjust techniques based on patient conditions; participate in quality review programs. Ensure equipment, supplies, and room readiness; conduct quality assurance checks. Explain procedures to patients, obtain medical histories, and administer contrast media safely. Accurately document exam data, maintain equipment, and report malfunctions. Transport patients, collaborate with healthcare providers, and prioritize exams for efficient workflow. Participate in departmental improvement programs, uphold safety and infection control standards, and serve as a resource and role model. Maintain professional licensure, complete mandatory training, and pursue ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program or equivalent education recognized by ARRT. ARRT certification in Radiography within 3 months of hire and TDSHS-MRT certification within 6 months. Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification. Strong time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Knowledge of radiologic equipment and patient-centered behaviors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
