School Social Worker Make an Impact Where It Matters TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team and support students in a school setting in Channahon, IL. This is a great opportunity for a School Social Worker who enjoys building meaningful relationships with students, supporting their social-emotional well-being, and helping children overcome barriers that may impact their academic and personal success. What You'll Do As a School Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and other members of the educational team to provide individualized social-emotional and behavioral support. Responsibilities may include: Providing individual and/or small-group counseling and social-emotional support Supporting students with behavioral, emotional, and social needs Conducting assessments to identify student needs and appropriate interventions Developing and implementing individualized support strategies and intervention plans Helping students develop coping, communication, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals Connecting students and families with appropriate school and community resources Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of services and student progress Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies Qualifications Active IL license or credential appropriate for school-based social work practice Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field Experience working with children or adolescents preferred School-based and/or special education experience is a plus Knowledge of child development, social-emotional needs, and behavioral support strategies Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements Why TSP Ed Co?
