Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Scientist to support RNA pilot manufacturing operations. The role involves executing nonGMP manufacturing activities, collaborating with process development and analytical teams, and ensuring quality and compliance in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute RNA manufacturing operations supporting nonGMP activities with phase-appropriate execution
- Operate in agile development model to rapidly deliver material for various program needs
- Partner with analytical and process development teams to ensure material release and technical readiness
- Perform real-time problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions during campaigns
- Track process performance using ELN workflows and multivariate data analysis tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in bio/chemical engineering, bio/chemistry, or related field
- 2-4+ years experience in science-related disciplines (BS) or 1-2+ years (MS)
- Experience with RNA manufacturing unit operations: bioreactors, chromatography, filtration
- Knowledge of technology transfer from pilot to GMP manufacturing
- Familiarity with RNA analytics and biophysical characterization techniques
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic, matrixed environments
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and process optimization skills
Compensation: $94,400 - $114,392
