Job Title: Rad Therapist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 to 5 years of clinical experience preferred License: MRT License in state of employment Certifications: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: TrueBeam machine experience and Aria/Varian experience Description: Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients. Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician. Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required. Maintains, stores, and orders supplies and equipment. Provides quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development, and other identified needs. Responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of Clienttion Therapy. Specialized procedures experience: SPRT, SRS, IGRT, IMRT is preferred. IMRT experience, LDR/HDR experience is preferred.
