Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide comprehensive perioperative care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The candidate will circulate across multiple specialties, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform circulating duties in various surgical specialties, including ortho, neuro, trauma, general, GYN, vascular, urology, and robotics.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing complex cases such as open heart, trauma, and robotic surgeries.
• Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to intraoperative needs, assist team members, and facilitate efficient patient flow.
• Complete EPIC training and test-out during orientation, ensuring full system competency before unit assignment.
• Float across all designated specialty pods as needed, delivering adaptable and comprehensive nursing support.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid FL or compact RN license with current BLS certification.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and at least 2 travel assignments in acute care settings.
• Exhibit strong circulating skills, with heavy experience required in trauma and robotic surgeries.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float across multiple specialties and pods.
• Have experience in trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, vascular, urology, and robotics cases; open heart experience preferred.
• Capable of passing required EPIC system training with testing out during orientation.
