- This is a FT position at our Ohio's Hospice Troy location, Springfield and Urbana territories as well.
- Schedule will be M-F 8a-5p with an occasional weekend
- We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end of life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed
Volunteer Coordinator Essential Duties:
- Maintains daily volunteer records and volunteer data in Volgistics.
- Manages the onboarding process for prospective volunteers.
- Coordinates referrals and inquiries regarding becoming a hospice volunteer.
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Manages volunteers annual renewal requirements to maintain compliance.
- Fills volunteer requests for patients in a timely manner as evidenced by completed tasks in the Electronic Medical Records to serve the needs of patients and families.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and communicate effectively.
- Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather
- Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
- State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
