Senior Program Manager

Our client, a life science solutions company, is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join their team! This is a fully remote position, working standard EST business hours.

We are seeking a senior-level Program Manager to support a high-visibility initiative tied to a large RFI effort. This role will play a critical part in coordinating day-to-day program activities, driving execution readiness, and ensuring alignment across schedule, scope, financials, and delivery planning. The team is currently in the early stages of solution development and is proactively building delivery structure ahead of a potential award.

Responsibilities

• Drive program coordination and execution activities for a large-scale RFI initiative
• Partner closely with internal leadership, delivery teams, and external stakeholders
• Maintain alignment across project scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery readiness
• Support Agile delivery practices alongside the Scrum Master and development teams
• Facilitate communication and accountability across cross-functional stakeholders
• Participate in strategic planning and solution development discussions
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and overall program health
• Help establish scalable program management processes as the organization continues to grow
• Attend executive and stakeholder meetings, providing updates and helping drive action items to completion

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Program Management experience
• Strong experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile environments
• Comfortable working with executive leadership and senior technical teams
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies required
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Aha! preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Adaptable, collaborative, and able to quickly learn new business domains

Team & Environment

• Fully remote opportunity working EST hours
• Distributed team currently located across Ohio and Washington, DC
• Initial team size of approximately 5–7 people with expected growth
• Opportunity to support both the current RFI effort and future delivery work if awarded

Additional Details

• Contract duration: 6 months with strong potential for contract-to-hire
• Company is actively building out its Program Management organization
