Qualifications Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP, NCA, or HEW. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to perform phlebotomy duties for neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Graduate from an approved school of medical technology - Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
