Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Hayward, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and patient and caregiver education preferred. Documentation experience with electronic medical records preferred. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Experience treating adults with complex medical needs, including post-acute and geriatric populations preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 08:00–16:30. Work days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Guaranteed weekly hours: 35. Candidate may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
