Entry-Level Express Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Express Technician at Pilson's Auto Group. This position is ideal for someone looking to start their career in automotive service and gain hands-on experience in a dealership environment. As an Express Technician, you will play a key role in performing routine vehicle maintenance and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Up to $2,000.00 depending upon education and experience. Pilson will assist in paying for your automotive technician education and training programs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes and lubrication services efficiently and accurately.
• Rotate tires and inspect tire condition.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues.
• Replace filters, belts, and other minor vehicle components.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs as needed.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines for vehicle servicing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools.
• Complete service and repair paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred certificate from college, technical school, or factory apprentice program; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
