About This Role The Research Nurse Coordinator will coordinate the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects, ensuring adherence to research protocols and patient safety standards. Highlights Pay: $30.41 - $46.38/hour Location: Cleveland, OH Facility: Cleveland Clinic Department/Unit: Clinical Research Unit Schedule: Part-time, Day shift What You'll Do Coordinate the implementation and conduct of research projects ensuring adherence to research protocol requirements. Serve as a liaison between investigators, research personnel, and central research administration offices. Utilize the nursing process as a basis for patient care. Assess research subjects and complete nursing assessments. Notify physicians of abnormal findings. Establish care plans in collaboration with research subjects and families. Coordinate ongoing care and identify discharge needs. Perform telephone triage and nursing procedures as directed. Evaluate and maintain standards of care consistent with policies and procedures. Conduct and document the informed consent process. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: Four years of clinical experience; Two years of research experience. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
