Civil Litigation Attorney

A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing Woodland Hills office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated litigation matters while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of cases while working alongside experienced litigators.

Key responsibilities include managing a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution or trial, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents, conducting and defending depositions, attending court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences, preparing cases for trial, collaborating with attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes, conducting legal research and providing practical legal analysis on complex litigation issues.

Qualifications include active membership in the California State Bar, 1+ years of civil litigation experience preferred, strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills, experience handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances, ability to independently manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school preferred.
