Our financial client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting the development and maintenance of scalable backend systems. Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer - NodeJS focused Location: Sunrise, Florida (hybrid) Pay Range: 60/hr W2; 70/hr C2C Type: Contract (12+ months) What’s the Job? Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Implement microservices architectures to support scalable and efficient platform operations. Develop and optimize REST API endpoints following best practices for security and performance. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and Workflows to streamline deployment processes. Work with cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions to implement serverless solutions. What’s Needed? Deep expertise in NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript development. Hands‑on experience with backend frameworks like Fastify or Express. Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain microservices architectures. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions and Workflows. Solid understanding of serverless architectures and cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
