Title
Outpatient Oncology RN - Oncology

Schedule
Primarily 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday; shift start/end times may vary. No weekends required.

Requirements
- Active California RN license required at time of submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of outpatient oncology experience required.
- First-time travelers accepted only with 3 years of outpatient oncology experience.
- Required certification: BLS.
- Preferred certifications: OCN or ONS/ONCC (chemo certification preferred).
- GI chemo regimen experience highly preferred.
- Charting system experience required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient oncology care and patient/family education regarding chemotherapy, surgery, BMT/CAR T.
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments, including continuous infusions and CADD pumps.
- Perform port/PAS-port access and troubleshooting; manage central line care.
- Handle management of extravasation, nausea/vomiting, neuropathy, and infusion reactions.
- Administer IV blood/blood products and conduct telephone triage.

Compliance / Notes
- Pre-approved time off limited to two days for the first two weeks.
- Orientation consists of 40 hours.
- Two supervisor references from within the past 12 months required at submission.
- Any background/legal issues must be accompanied by a detailed statement.
