Registered Nurse SupervisorFull-time 3-11/Part-time 7-3 weekends and 12 hour shifts available.Apex Rehabilitation & Care Center, a 5-Star facility, is looking for a passionate and hard-working Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team! We welcome new grads! This is a full-time, part-time we offer 12 hour shifts for supervision.Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse (RN):As an Registered Nurse RN Supervisor you will guide and direct the activities of certified nursing assistants, RN's, and LPN's, review and modify care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, attend care planning and discharge planning reviews, and provide patient/family education.Providing a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff and physicians.Communicating with patients and their family members as needed, and offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distressYou will also be responsible for administering treatments, performing special tests, documenting treatment, and responding to patient care emergencies.Perform required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, forms, policies and proceduresDevelop care plan that demonstrates knowledge of criteria to ascertain residents specific needs based on health care problem(s)Carry out care plan that demonstrates familiarity with criteria to establish resident priorities specific to anticipated outcomesImplement physicians’ orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulationsQualifications of a Registered Nurse (RN):Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licenseMinimum Associates DegreeBSN preferredMust have effective communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be creative and have good observations and analytical skillsWhat we offer: We offer competitive salaries, generous PTO packages, health and dental benefits, 401k plans, career development, paid orientations, innovative training programs, monthly employee recognition programs, and much more!Competitive salaryGenerous PTO packageHealth/Dental Benefits401k planCareer developmentPaid orientationInnovative training programsMonthly employee recognition programsEmployee of the monthAnd much more!If you’re looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we want to hear from you!
