Pay The starting hourly pay range is $26.50 – $28.50, with a full range of $26.50 – $45.05. Pay depends on factors such as labor market, education, experience, and certifications. More information: Job Overview The role of an Inbound Operations Team Leader manages inbound/ outbound activities, replenishment, and promotional signing for General Merchandise (GM) and Food & Beverage. The leader ensures product is available, accurately priced, and safely displayed while fostering a guest‑first culture. Key Responsibilities Deliver and reinforce Target’s guest‑experience commitments. Train and hold team members accountable for guest‑experience and operational standards. Review guest, financial, and team metrics; identify improvement opportunities and celebrate successes. Execute daily/weekly workload to meet sales and engagement goals. Lead operational expertise in freshness, accuracy, and efficiency. Use workload‑planning tools, assign daily tasks, and ensure areas are guest‑ready at open. Assess back‑room and sales‑floor gaps, develop remediation plans. Build and onboard GM experts through lesson planning and coaching. Promote safety culture, model secure practices, and address hazards. Support merchandise protection strategies and store security processes. Occasionally assume Level‑of‑Duty responsibilities. Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick‑up, and drive‑up operations. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Age 18 or older. Previous retail experience preferred, but not required. Ability to lead, hold others accountable. Adaptation to current technology. Independent and team-oriented work style. Effective workload management and prioritization. Alertness and composure in a fast‑paced environment. Welcoming and customer‑friendly attitude. Strong communication skills. Access to all building areas; ability to interpret reports. Cash register proficiency. Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 44 lbs, bend, twist, reach, rotate. Availability for variable work schedule, nights, weekends, holidays. Tolerance for temperature, humidity, and environmental conditions. Mobility for length of shift.
