Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in South Paris Maine for the school year. This is a part-time role (3 days per week) serving students in the public school setting.

Compensation & Incentives

$50$60 Per Hour

Guaranteed Pay

At Boothby youre paid for your scheduled time even when students are absent or sessions are canceled.

Your compensation shouldnt depend on factors outside your control.

Sign-On Bonus Eligibility

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10000 depending on assignment location and experience.

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by placement but may include:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool elementary middle school and high school students
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
• Support students with:
  • Articulation and phonological disorders
  • Receptive and expressive language disorders
  • Social/pragmatic communication
  • Fluency disorders
  • Voice disorders
  • AAC and assistive communication needs
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
• Collaborate with teachers administrators families and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
• Support students in achieving greater communication independence and educational success

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
• Active Maine SLP License or eligibility
• School-based pediatric or special education experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
