Operations Manager - Building Supply

Job Description

A leading regional specialty distributor of building materials is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence and support continued growth. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader looking to make an impact while building a long-term career with a growing organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a high-volume distribution operation, leading teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Qualifications:

Management experience within the building materials or distribution industry
Experience leading a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or branch operation
Strong understanding of operations, customer service, and sales support
Ability to optimize logistics, trucking, and freight processes
Experience managing warehouse functions and inventory control
Knowledge of P&L management, purchasing, and operational improvement initiatives
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team development skills
