Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:30) | Every 5th Weekend Required (Saturday and Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services in an acute care hospital setting
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and deliver appropriate treatments
• Conduct and interpret video fluoroscopy swallow evaluations as needed
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Provide holiday coverage as needed per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota State SLP License (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
• Demonstrated experience with bedside swallow evaluations and treatments
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to commit to Livescan fingerprinting completion within 48 hours of contract signing, completed in person in Minnesota

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing video fluoroscopy swallow evaluations
• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma facility
