Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - Stepdown for a travel assignment in Weirton, WV. This role is within an acute care setting, focusing on patients with cardiac needs and other critical conditions. The position requires a strong background in telemetry and experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), ensuring top-notch patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Monitoring and managing cardiac patients and those post-procedures such as catheterizations
• Administering and titrating medications including cardizem, amio, nitro, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, and angiomax
• Collaborating with the healthcare team including hospitalists and RTs to provide comprehensive care
• Reading and interpreting telemetry strips accurately
• Providing patient care including ADLs, vitals, feeding, and repositioning

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Valid RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Stepdown/PCU
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and administrating cardiac drips
