Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Champaign, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting access control and reporting needs. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:30 AM - 03:30 PMFri07:30 AM - 03:30 PMSat07:30 AM - 03:30 PMSun07:30 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
