We are currently seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Junior Landscape Designe r to join our design studio. In this role, you will work directly alongside our senior Landscape Architects to bring extraordinary outdoor spaces to life. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior designer to gain hands‑on experience in high-end residential design, field operations, and client presentations while building a long‑term career with an industry leader Key Responsibilities Design & Drafting Support ortCollaborate closely with senior Landscape Architects to develop innovative and high-end residential landscape and hardscape desig ns.Utilize CAD software to draft base plans, conceptual layouts, and detailed construction documen ts.Assist in the selection of plant palettes, hardscape materials, and architectural lighting layouts suited for the Mid-Atlantic regi Site Analysis & Field Work orkConduct accurate and thorough on‑site measurements and site inventories for prospective and active projec ts.Perform detailed material takeoffs and area calculations to assist the estimating and project management tea ms.Photograph and document site conditions, elevations, and existing elements to ensure accurate base map creati Presentation Development entCompile and format professional, visually compelling design presentations for luxury client meetin gs.Create 3D renderings, mood boards, and graphic exhibits utilizing software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or the Adobe Creative Sui te.Organize and prepare physical material samples (stone, pavers, planting examples) for client revi Qualifications & Requirements ents Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university is strictly requ ired.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD preferred) for landscape drafting and de sign.Field Capabilities: The ability to confidently conduct precise on‑site field measurements, site analysis, and comprehensive material take offs.Presentation Software: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Lumion) is highly prefe rred.Design Sensibility: A strong portfolio showcasing design skills, drafting capabilities, and an understanding of landscape architecture princi ples.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced studio environ ment.Requirements: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation for visiting local job s ites.Position Type: This constitutes a full-time, on‑site professional opportu What We Offer Competitive base salary with opportunities for performance-based advan cement.Comprehensive Health and Dental Insurance o ptions.Paid Time Off (PTO) which is accrued for all employees, plus Paid Ho lidays.A collaborative, creative studio environment and the opportunity to work on some of the region's most prestigious e states.Mentorship from award-winning Landscape Architects to help you build your professional portfolio and work toward lic #J-18808-Ljbffr Lerch Brothers Landscape Contractors
