Job TitleRegistered Nurse TelemetryLocationConroe, TXAssignment DurationThis is a 91-week contract position.Schedule / Shift7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shiftJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for our 2 North unit. This unit has 23 beds with a staff of 37, including a charge nurse, nurses, techs, and a unit secretary on each shift. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Candidates with experience in the Expanse EMR and familiarity with admissions and discharges will be prioritized.ResponsibilitiesPerform lab draws, IV insertions, and Foley insertions.Administer IV fluids and medications, including antibiotics.Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures.Communicate effectively with physicians.Attend daily huddles and complete required daily charting.Required ExperienceMinimum of one year of acute care experience in a Med/Surg Tele or step-down unit.Certifications / LicensureCurrent BLS certification.
