Quick Facts Location: 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303 Start Date: 05/15/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: Full-time, Mon-Fri (flexible call schedule) Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent, Provider License/Certs: Board-certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine or equivalent Experience: Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship (or in progress) Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (competitive salary package to be discussed at interview) Benefits include: Competitive salary Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA) 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Optional voluntary benefits Some employer-paid benefits Ongoing support from a dedicated team What You’ll Do Lead and provide comprehensive neonatal care within a Level III NICU supporting 25-29 infants daily Manage high-acuity neonatal cases, including advanced interventions like high-frequency ventilation and hypothermia Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and collaborative care models Support and deliver well-baby care in partnership with family medicine residents Work alongside pediatric subspecialists such as cardiology, surgery, and MFM specialists Engage in on-call rotation with every-other-night schedule Contribute to a teaching and academic environment supporting regional neonatal care standards Provide family-centered care within a community-focused healthcare system What You Need Required: Medical license to practice in South Carolina, Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, fellowship completion or in progress Preferred: Previous experience in a Level III NICU, strong collaborative and leadership skills About the Assignment This opportunity is with a leading facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina, recognized for delivering advanced neonatal care in a family-friendly environment.
