About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the people strategy during a significant growth phase. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, translating business strategy into a people roadmap that aligns with the company's values and goals. This hands-on, highly visible role requires a leader with a founder's mindset, capable of championing company culture, and preserving the high-ownership, high-trust values of a startup while professionalizing the organization. Core responsibilities include executive partnership, organizational development, leadership, total rewards, and people operations, as well as ensuring compliance with employment laws and managing risk. The ideal candidate will have 12-18+ years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record in a growth-stage technology company. They should be a player-coach, data-driven, and have expertise in total rewards, particularly in pre-IPO equity structures. Experience in multi-state or global HR, executive-level credibility, and a strong business and financial acumen are essential. An exceptional candidate will also have experience in a company that has undergone a significant inflection point and a background in data infrastructure, enterprise software, or deep tech. Executive HR certification is a plus. The role demands a leader who can build and mentor a high-performing HR team, drive organizational design, and make data-informed decisions to support the company's rapid growth and evolution.
