Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)

Position Overview Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000. The Clinical Supervisor is a salaried, exempt, full‑time position reporting to the Group Clinical Manager. Core responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and supervision of treatment for patients and coaching of behavioral technicians across multiple settings. Key Responsibilities Uses clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develops and maintains treatment plans Ensures all supervision hours are at 100% treatment adherence each month Evaluates patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyzes challenging behaviors to identify the function of the behavior Develops functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observes treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitors treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols Directs behavior technicians in implementation of new or revised treatment protocols Provides ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Supports technicians at the center through direct observation and best practices Summarizes and analyzes data to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals and adjusts protocols based on data Updates treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response Fulfills a minimum of 120 billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory and therapy hours Communicates treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinates care with other professionals Administers, completes, and scores standardized assessments Includes caregiver collaboration through consistent meetings Interacts with payers collaboratively, professionally, and informatively Engages with payers for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews) Stays up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence Maintains appropriate documentation in Skills and patient medical records Communicates effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provides a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintains compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times Partners effectively with center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator, Technician Leads) Other duties as assigned Core Qualifications Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field (required) Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (required) Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Empathetic and compassionate, maintaining strict confidentiality Collaborative team player with a positive, solution‑focused attitude Independently problem‑solving and exercising clinical judgment Effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent time‑management in a fast‑paced, changing environment Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook; ability to use new systems and iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skill sets Willingness to work in a variety of settings (center, patient home, community) Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance Must pass tuberculosis test Proficiency in English, both written and verbal Physical Requirements Work with patients seated on the floor, small chairs, or other environments Move frequently throughout therapeutic settings to gather materials and respond to patient movement Participate in patient movements, including bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to prevent safety incidents Use continuous visual tracking to monitor patient movement and environmental items Evade aggressive behaviors and physically block attempts to aggression when necessary Encourage patients to use vocal speech and model clear speech Model gross and fine motor skill training (climbing, jumping, clapping) Work indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions Lift up to 30 lbs. while assisting patients EEOC & EER Statement Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
