Radiologic Technologist

Role Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic radiological imaging studies under the supervision of a qualified physician. Key Duties Position patients correctly to demonstrate anatomy or pathology, operate radiation equipment and electronic radiology systems, prepare patient rooms, equipment, and medications. Additional phlebotomy skills may be required at sites combining radiology and lab services. Qualifications Graduate from a recognized trade school, eligible for ARRT registry (must obtain certification within 180 days), and hold BLS certification. Skills Strong communication, critical thinking, operational control, technology proficiency, and writing skills. Additional Requirements Basic managerial experience to coordinate work is preferred. Knowledge of straightforward procedures and systems is essential.
