Data Management Documentation Lead

About the Role

As a Data Management Documentation Lead, you will play a critical role in improving the clarity, consistency, and adoption of client and party data processes across the organization. You will transform complex data concepts into clear, actionable documentation that enables teams to effectively onboard, manage, and maintain high-quality data. This role requires a strong balance of data domain expertise, structured thinking, and exceptional written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, review, and ongoing maintenance of data management procedures and documentation.
• Translate complex data concepts into clear, concise, and business-friendly content for diverse audiences.
• Design and standardize documentation templates, playbooks, and guidance materials to ensure consistency and usability.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with enterprise data management policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Create and maintain end-to-end process flows and visual representations for data onboarding, maintenance, and lifecycle activities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, validate content, and drive adoption of documentation standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience creating structured, high-quality documentation for data processes or technical domains.
• Strong ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, organized written content.
• Experience working with customer, client, or entity data domains.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and facilitation skills across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise data management, data governance, or data quality frameworks.
• Proven ability to standardize documentation practices across large organizations.
• Familiarity with process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on clarity, consistency, and usability.
