Job Title: Telemetry Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo Description: Travelers must start on one of the following dates: August 17, August 31, September 14, September 28, October 12, October 26, November 9, November 16, December 7. The facility has 355 beds and is home to various specialized centers including a brain center, cancer center, heart center, lung center, orthopedics, general and vascular surgery, surgical weight loss, women's center, and a Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit. The emergency department has 32 beds, there is a 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, and a 15-bed surgical suite with imaging capabilities. Telemetry unit consists of 24 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. The equipment used includes Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner EHR. The target patient population includes generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly adults. The role may occasionally require floating to other units. The position requires a family-oriented personality fit. Any scrubs in any color are acceptable as part of the dress code.
