Registered Respiratory Therapist

Overview Full Time - Night Shift - St. Mary's Health Care System - Athens, GA Join St. Mary's Health Care System as a Respiratory Therapist and make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional respiratory care to patients across a variety of clinical settings. In this night shift role, you will deliver high quality respiratory therapy services while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to compassionate, patient centered care. Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory care services and therapeutic interventions for patients of varying ages and acuity levels. Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient respiratory status and response to treatment. Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and support clinical care plans. Serve as a respiratory care resource for colleagues and members of the healthcare team. Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care consistent with organizational standards and values. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required or Registry Eligible through the National Board for Respiratory Care. Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License in the State of Georgia required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. NRP certification required for therapists working in the NICU.
