Enica Engineering, a division of Willdan Group Inc., delivers industry-leading controls expertise and hands-on project delivery across the greater New York area. Our services span project development, building automation engineering, control system optimization, energy metering, and field engineering. We partner with major medical campuses, universities, hospitals, and leading pharmaceutical and industrial facilities.

What You'll Focus On

• Driving performance improvements across complex facilities.
• Designing, optimizing, and fine-tuning BMS architecture.
• Engaging directly with HVAC equipment and building automation systems.
• Applying thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and system mechanics to real-world infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently conduct site visits and energy audits to gather field data and assess system performance.
• Perform engineering analysis and energy savings calculations to deliver clean, actionable engineering reports.
• Support the design of HVAC and building control systems across diverse client facilities.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, client teams, and field engineers throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college
• General understanding of HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), energy-using equipment, and cross-system interactions.
• Ability to execute energy calculations and translate field data into formal engineering deliverables.
• Strong technical writing and verbal skills for client-facing interaction and clear documentation.
• Current Covid and Flu Vaccination may be required in order to be considered for the position due to client contract requirements.
