Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

2 out of 4 weekends, with an alternating schedule. The Registered Nurse will float as needed and work 48 hours in a general working week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit. This position requires flexibility, effective communication, and the ability to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, medications, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health care needs.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to start.
• A minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Cerner experience is required.
