Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Leesburg, FL. This role supports day-to-day HR operations, including administering and communicating HR policies, coordinating employee benefits and related documentation, and assisting with benefits enrollment and changes. The Human Resources Generalist will help ensure compliance with college policies and applicable employment laws, maintain accurate employee records, and support HR processes such as onboarding, employee status changes, and leave administration. The role also involves serving as a resource to employees and supervisors on HR-related questions, contributing to HR projects and initiatives, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with the college’s mission. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in core Human Resources (HR) functions, including general HR support and employee relations. Knowledge of HR Management practices, such as staffing processes, performance documentation, and HR recordkeeping. Familiarity with HR Policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including federal and state employment regulations. Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain accurate, organized documentation and HR systems. Proficiency with standard office software and HR information systems; ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; prior higher education or public sector HR experience is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
