Acquisition Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Real Estate Acquisition Analyst with 3–4 years of experience in residential real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or asset management. This role will support the sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and execution of residential real estate investments, including single-family rental (SFR), multifamily, build-to-rent (BTR), or value-add opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling skills, experience evaluating residential investment opportunities, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite role, based out of our Dallas, Texas office. Key Responsibilities Analyze and underwrite residential real estate acquisition opportunities Build and maintain detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, return metrics, and sensitivity analyses Evaluate market trends, comparable sales, rent comps, demographic data, and competitive properties Support the acquisition process from initial screening through closing Coordinate due diligence activities, including inspections, appraisals, title review, and third-party reports Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees Assist in negotiating purchase agreements and tracking transaction timelines Monitor portfolio performance and support asset management initiatives as needed Maintain acquisition pipeline reports and CRM/database systems Collaborate with brokers, lenders, attorneys, property managers, and internal teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field 3–4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or related role Direct experience in residential real estate preferred (multifamily, SFR, BTR, or residential development) Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling Experience with ARGUS, CoStar, Yardi, or other real estate software is a plus Understanding of valuation methodologies, underwriting, and real estate market analysis Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Preferred Skills Experience underwriting residential rental portfolios or multifamily assets Familiarity with debt financing and capital stack structuresStrong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to present investment recommendations clearly and concisely Entrepreneurial mindset with strong work ethic #J-18808-Ljbffr
