At the Heritage, the journey of a dish doesn’t end at the pass—it begins there. We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented food runner to be the vital link between our culinary team and our guests. In fine dining, the runner is more than a delivery person; you are the final checkpoint for excellence. What You’ll Do:
- The Final Polish: Conduct a final quality check on every plate, ensuring garnishes and presentation meet our executive chef’s exacting standards.
- Precision Delivery: Use the "open hand" technique to place dishes without interrupting the guest’s experience.
- Expert Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of ingredients and allergens to confidently answer guest questions upon delivery.
- The Orchestrator: Work in lockstep with the Expeditor and Servers to maintain a flawless tempo during peak service hours.
- The Professional: You possess a sense of urgency but move with the composure of a seasoned veteran.
- The Perfectionist: You notice the small things—a smudge on a plate rim or a slightly tilted garnish.
- The Team Player: You thrive in a high-pressure environment where communication is key.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a full service restaurant
