Radiation Therapist - Oncology - Days (Sign On Bonus Available)

Hourly Pay Range $37.47 - $58.08; the hourly pay rate is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Radiation Therapist, Oncology Location: Northwest Community Hospital – Arlington Heights, IL Full Time | 40 hours/week Hours: Shifts vary Monday‑Friday from 6:30 am‑3:00 pm, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm, 7:30 am‑4:00 pm, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, with a Saturday requirement every 7 weeks. What You Will Do Simulate treatment setups, perform dosimetric calculations, and accurately deliver ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist while working under general supervision of the System Manager, Radiation Oncology. Assist in patient care and management. Adhere to clinical, technical, and operational policies and procedures. What You Will Need Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program (required). Certification: Must be a candidate for ARRT® (Radiology Therapy) certification and complete the exam within one year of starting the position. Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association (required). License: IEMA licensure (required). Experience: Prior experience with Varian equipment and the ARIA EMR (preferred).
