Monitors & responds to all Step 3 grievance proceedings, mediations or requests for disciplinary action to ensure timely, applicable, consistent & contractually sound responses. Reviews department administrative investigations & recommends discipline to Asst. Chief Human Resources Officer. Serves as liaison with Division Directors, ODPS Director &/or other leadership staff to advise them of all labor relations matters to include HR laws, policies & procedures. Qualifications Option 1: 4 years experience in collective bargaining, including contract administration & management representation with regard to grievances &/or negotiated agreements. Successful completion of the OCB Academy may be substituted for 6 months of required experience. Applicants who completed OCB Academy prior to 1/1/2018 may substitute 12 months experience. Option 2: Completion of undergraduate core program in human resources management and 2 years experience in labor relations/collective bargaining that included contract administration & management representation with regard to grievances &/or negotiated agreements. Successful completion of the OCB Academy may be substituted for 6 months of required experience. Applicants who completed OCB Academy prior to 1/1/2018 may substitute 12 months experience. Option 3: 2 years experience as Labor Relations Officer2, 63472. Option 4: 1 year experience as Labor Relations Officer3, 63473 or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
