Position Summary Provide services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients with injury or disease, while promoting overall fitness and health. Education Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program (master’s or doctoral preferred). Current New York State registration and Basic Life Support certification. Experience One year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred but not required. Board certifications or specializations in various PT areas are preferred. New graduates welcome. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Competent in essential PT skills for all systems and patient populations. Conduct comprehensive evaluations: medical history, strength, ROM, balance, posture, etc. Apply diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Develop, plan, and implement treatment strategies with clear goals. Advise and educate patients, families, and staff. Maintain accurate documentation and case records. Participate in staff meetings, continuous education, and committees. Adhere to safety and professional standards.
