Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcare facility in Dover, DE 19904. Schedule: Day hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30-5 and Friday 8:30-12 Location: Dover, DE 19904 Job Type: Local contract Pay Range: $20/Hr. to $21/hr. Job Summary: Responsible for collecting blood specimens, processing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient service. Ensures accurate specimen handling while maintaining patient confidentiality and following established procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform blood draws and specimen collection on patients of all ages. Label, process, and prepare specimens for testing. Verify patient information and maintain accurate records. Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards. Provide professional and compassionate patient care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months' to One(+) year of phlebotomy experience required. Strong venipuncture skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
