Job Description Job Description Job Title – Detrash & Kitting Specialist Location – 6550 Judge Adams Road, Whitsett, NC 27377 Contract – Open End Contract (possibility to go perm) Pay Range – $17.50 - $18.50 USD hourly on W2 Shift: 1 st Shift, 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM / 2 nd Shift, 03:30 PM – 12 midnight Job Description: Role Overview: The Detrash & Kitting Specialist is responsible for the initial handling and preparation of components within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures that materials are properly unpacked and organized for the production team to meet quality standards. Primary Responsibilities: Kitting & Organization: Prepare and organize kits of components, such as motherboards and CPUs, ensuring all materials are ready for the assembly process. Detrash & Handling: Efficiently remove components from bulk packaging while following strict safety and ESD-safe handling procedures. Material Movement: Perform material movements through integrated systems to track inventory and log production data. Quality Inspection: Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts to identify any defects or deviations before they reach the production line. Workflow Support: Follow detailed work instructions to comply with production schedules and environment, safety, and health management systems. Minimum Requirements: Education: High school diploma or technical certification. Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience. Previous experience in high-volume fulfillment, pick-packing, or sortation (such as in an Amazon or logistics environment) is preferred. Skills: Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Basic computer skills are required for data entry and equipment interface. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle and lift components safely. Location/Status: Whitsett, United States.
