Medical Science Liaison, Rare Disease

About the Role We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and self-driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support medical engagement efforts within rare disease. This role is fully virtual and focused on engaging healthcare providers (HCPs) across a broad U.S. territory through remote interactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rare diseases, thrive in dynamic and evolving environments, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset suited for building processes in a lean, biotech-style organization. This role requires someone comfortable working independently while maintaining close cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain virtual scientific engagement with HCPs treating patients in rare disease indications across a defined U.S. region (East or West Coast). Deliver accurate, balanced, and timely medical and scientific information to HCPs. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, particularly commercial (sales), to ensure aligned field engagement strategies. Contribute to referral pathway development, stakeholder mapping, and HCP targeting strategy. Gather and communicate field insights to medical affairs leadership to inform strategy and planning. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical data, treatment guidelines, and emerging science in rare diseases. Represent the company at medical conferences and scientific meetings, as needed. Ensure all interactions and activities comply with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines.
