English Teacher

MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic English Teacher to join the instructional staff at Bonny Eagle High School in Standish , Maine, for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom; motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child; and respond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress. Applicants for this position must have: Degree(s) required in major area of study Maine Department of Education certification with a #100 endorsement Experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned Demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues Evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth Salaries and benefits may be found on the District website in the Agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association.
