About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Lead Electrical Engineer to drive hardware design from product concept to mass production. This is a rare opportunity to own end-to-end system solutions and shape their technical direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own electrical subsystem design from concept to production
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and success criteria
  • Convert requirements into schematics—lead PCB layout for DFMA and prototype builds
  • Plan and run functional verification; track and resolve issues
  • Coordinate electromechanical integration with mechanical engineers
  • Own harness design for EMI, serviceability, and reliability
  • Manage PCB supply chain, alternatives, cost/lead time, and EOL risk
  • Sustain released hardware until end-of-life
  • Lead root-cause analysis to eliminate field issues with our service team
About You
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Prior experience with design and production of mixed analog and digital circuits
  • Strong electrical design fundamentals in motion control systems (electric motors and actuators), sensors, and user-interfacing hardware (lighting and displays)
  • Proficiency in PCB design software (Altium, Autodesk Fusion, ExpressPCB, etc.)
  • Proven track record shipping mixed-signal PCBs to production
  • Ability to operate as the sole electrical engineer with full lifecycle accountability
  • Hands-on experience with motion control or other power-dense electromechanical systems
  • Understanding of trade-offs across performance, cost, schedule, and risk
  • Strong test bench skills and methodical failure analysis
  • Crisp technical writing and communication
  • Strong sense of ownership and pride in your work
  • Comfort with small, fast teams—you're excited to tackle the hard problems
  • Experience with common digital protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, MIPI) is preferred
  • Proficiency in automated test scripting (Python, C++, etc.) is preferred
  • Basic understanding of mechanical design fundamentals is preferred
