This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, a broad range of maintenance / handyman skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment.Position Summary: As a Maintenance Technician at Peak, you will be responsible for visiting our properties and completing maintenance requests, inspections, and general maintenance and repair work for both residential and commercial properties. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of their responsibilities.This is a full-time position and we expect a 40-hour work week. The goal is to achieve 38 hours billed in a 40-hour week.We are looking for technicians who take pride in their work and the properties that they care for. If youre a skilled technician looking for opportunity, this is the perfect time to get your foot in the door.Primary Responsibilities:Perform a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks across propertiesComplete preventative maintenance and inspections with thorough documentationRespond to urgent or emergency maintenance issues as neededCommunicate professionally with tenants, owners, vendors, and team membersCoordinate with Field Supervisor and Director of Maintenance to prioritize work ordersAssist with vendor coordination when necessaryMaintain clean and organized job sites and work vehiclesUphold company standards for workmanship, professionalism, and safetyDeliver consistently high-quality service with a goal of earning 5-star reviewsBecome proficient with company software to communicate and documentRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of relevant maintenance, construction, or skilled trade experienceValid drivers license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningMust provide references for past work or demonstrate applicable skillsReliable transportation is requiredMust be physically capable of performing manual tasks and lifting up to 50 lbsComfortable using smartphones and software to manage work ordersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be dependable, trustworthy, and detail-orientedNo smoking on job sites or in company vehicles (if provided)Compensation and Benefits:Hourly pay range: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on experience and/or licenses.A company vehicle may be provided after a selection period (covers gas, tolls, and maintenance)Health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (vacation, sick days, and holidays)Performance-based bonus opportunitiesCareer development and advancement opportunitiesWork Schedule:Full-time, Monday through Friday- 40 hours.On-call rotation required.Occasional weekend work may be required
