About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join an early-stage, highly technical team building mission-critical infrastructure software for large-scale data center environments.

\n

\n

The platform helps monitor environmental conditions, predict potential failures before outages happen, and optimize efficiency across complex physical infrastructure. The company already has strong enterprise traction and is now moving from MVP stage toward an enterprise-scale platform.

\n

\n

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building reliable distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and backend platforms that operate in real-world, mission-critical environments.

\n

\n

Important Note

\n

This is not a typical SaaS CRUD backend role . We are looking for someone with strong systems thinking, distributed systems experience, cloud infrastructure depth, and the ability to build highly reliable backend systems at scale.

Role Overview

\n

The Senior Backend Engineer will help scale backend systems powering real-time monitoring across data center infrastructure globally.

\n

\n

This role is ideal for an engineer who has experience with distributed systems, Go/Golang, AWS cloud infrastructure, reliability, observability, APIs, and edge/cloud orchestration.

\n

\n

What You Will Work On

\n

* Build and scale distributed backend systems in Go

\n

* Work on real-time sensor and event ingestion

\n

* Scale cloud infrastructure on AWS

\n

* Build multi-region and high-availability systems

\n

* Support edge device orchestration and device data flows

\n

* Improve reliability, observability, and backend performance

\n

* Build and maintain public and internal APIs

\n

* Work on data pipelines and analytics infrastructure

\n

* Support future ML and predictive analytics infrastructure

\n

* Help move edge device data into cloud analytics systems

\n

* Support multi-AZ architecture and enterprise readiness initiatives

\n

* Help scale infrastructure for international deployments

\n

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

* 6–10+ years of backend engineering experience

\n

* Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment

\n

* Production experience with Go / Golang

\n

* Experience scaling distributed systems

\n

* AWS or cloud infrastructure experience

\n

* Strong API architecture experience

\n

* SQL / PostgreSQL experience

\n

* Startup experience required

\n

* Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and high ownership

\n

* Ability to operate independently without heavy mentorship

\n

\n

* Infrastructure or platform engineering background

\n

* Edge computing or device management experience

\n

* Docker or containerization experience

\n

* Redis or caching experience

\n

* Reliability and observability systems experience

\n

* IoT or real-world systems experience

* Experience with event-driven or real-time systems

* Experience with multi-region or high-availability architecture
