Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM | 1-hour lunch | No weekends, nights, or on-call

Job Overview

We seek a motivated, compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, AAHA-accredited practice in Angels Camp, CA. The hospital primarily treats small animals and offers wellness care, surgery, urgent care, and medical management. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with experienced support staff, modern diagnostic equipment, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide wellness, medical, surgical, and urgent care services.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat small and mixed-animal patients.
• Perform and assist with surgical procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment to support patient care.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow up with clients.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and other veterinarians.
• Provide excellent client service and support quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active California veterinary license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary experience; new graduates are not being considered.
• DEA license preferred; assistance with obtaining the license is available.
• Comfortable providing a range of veterinary services, including clinical and surgical care.
• Willingness to learn, develop skills, and manage cases.
