We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sister / Charge Nurse to join us at Bursledon House. Bursledon House is a specialist inpatient unit providing holistic assessment and intervention in a home‑from‑home environment. The service caters to young people and families presenting with a range of symptoms across specialties such as Gastroenterology, Neurology, Sleep, Dermatology, Mental Health Care, Endocrinology & LTV. Our patients often have complex medical histories with symptoms disproportionate to their underlying diagnosis. Person specification Qualified Nurse (Degree/Diploma) Registered nurse on appropriate part of the register Significant post registration experience / qualification / training, including experience and knowledge within relevant speciality Ward management experience Experience in an acute hospital setting Act in the role of Practice Assessor or supporting the progression of learners / supporting challenges as needed Trust Values and Behaviours Patients First Always Improving Working Together Please be advised that this vacancy may close earlier than stated if we receive a large number of applications.
